Another generation with no Rock/Ghost typing.

God damn it.
They had the opportunity to do it with Cursola too.

Also, legitimately surprised that we got another European-inspired region with no gargoyle-based Pokemon.

A surprising amount of mono-types too. Hopefully they get interesting abilities or stat spreads to make them stand apart.

Now that it's all said and done, the only pokemon that I don't like is Icecue, otherwise it's a pretty good gen. Although I wish there was more, I was expecting about a hundred to counter the dex cut. Really looking forward to using a lot of these though, cool mons with unique typings.

In the end it worked out pretty well but damn if there isn't a few really questionable designs this gen. Maybe the official art and dex entries could salvage Mime and Rime but I don't think there's anything that could make me like Eiscue.

Can we appreciate how awful fighting type is this gen? Half of the new Pokémon are resistant or immune to it, and only a handful have x2 weakness. Even worse, there are plenty of fairy and psychic types
