How does nobody get the gimmick here, they are going to be trade exclusives.
The other version will have Draco and Arcto attached to Zolt and Vish's bodies, and then you get the pure form by trading them.
The abominations are for the unique typing that normally would never exist (ice/electric) but the pure forms are promoted for trade and probably lower in the Dex. And if not it'll either be DLC or in the 2nd game the finish the concept. I doubt they'd model half of both mon without having the full product on deck. Its probably already in the games data.
You can end these mons suffering by trading them with the right pieces.
