The new anime has all of the regions. It has no reason to give a shit about what's in the Galar Dex.

It's just a "Pokemon" anime now. If it was about Gen 8 it'd be called Sword & Shield. This is the first anime to not follow the games.

The anime, TCG, and Masters are basically all on damage control for GF and will feature old generations prominently.

Anime producers deciced to BTFO Gamefreak and they're doing their own thing now. Which is, per say, extremelly good. Now the anime may finally be freed from the game's direction
