What happened? Unova mons used to be unanimously hated. Even gen6 and gen7 fags agreed that gen V was a mistake but now there's Unova love everywhere. A region with like two aesthetically pleasing designs.

The Unova pandering wouldn't be so bad if they actually picked good Pokemon to represent it.

Nah even in the popularity polls they always filled the bottom tiers. They were some strong designs like Volcarona, Hydreigon and Scolipede but it was the first time there were so many off-putting designs.
