I hate the new Pokemon designs, and I hate the direction that Pokemon is going as a series. The focus is less on the world and your adventure, but it instead is shifting its focus to the Pokemon becoming one-off caricatures; especially the starters. Sobble3, Grookey3, and Scorbunny3 look like someone's fursona rather than a true 'pokemon'. Are the designs bad? I don't hate them design wise, I just feel that they don't fit in the world that was originally established. The Pokemon look less animalistic and more cartoonish. I will defend Muk and Electrode, but I will also defend Amoongus, Vanilluxe, and Garbodor. I'll still play the older gens but as for new gens: I don't think I'll check out SS.
