I never hated the new pokemon until I heard about the dex cut. It like, in order to have new pokemon. 3 or 4 old one must be sacrifice. Even Arceus wasn't spared.

My only disappointment from the leaks initially was the large amount of monotypes, but even that I've gotten over now that I thought more about how many monotype mon I actually really like. There's also still some neat combos in the mix so it should still be fun to put a team together.

Hell, could even try to go for an only monotype run at some point with how many of them there are this gen.

I feel like the people calling all of the designs shit are just seeing the actually bad ones and overreacting (which is the exactly same thing they did with gen 5 ofc) because my favorites from this gen are a lot better than almost all of the pokemon from 6 and 7
