Have they completely missed that the central appeal of Eevee is its varied evolutionary potential and not Eevee itself (though yes it is a very cute and marketable design)? Don't get me wrong, I don't think we need any more eeveelutions, but I'd definitely rather see that than giving a Z-Crystal to a NFE or making unevolvable variants of the EVOLUTION Pokemon.
