Anons, no matter where you stand on the issues at hand, everyone has things they want improved or addressed in the games. Unfortunately, the collective action required to impact the games financially is unlikely if we are being realistic. I think that Game Freak and its employees, like Masuda, do feel shame when people do not like this games. Honor and respect are big ideals for anyone, especially in Japan, and especially as game developers who stand shoulder to shoulder with some of the greats. We need an open letter for Game Freak in which we address a brief but complete list of things that are the core of the pokemon experience for fans, and other ideas Game Freak can use to understand the perspective of fans. It's clear there is indeed a disconnect between GF and fans, a disconnect that can be bridged. I truly believe that GF would like to improve the games, and this type of well-signed and well-written letter could have some impact. A big issue we have is our delivery of criticisms, and it's easy to write off someone launching insults at you despite them having very valid points. I don't think the games are by any means in the dumpster, but in some ways they've stagnated or diverged in ways that GF does not recognize. Many of the requests that I've seen from a variety of fans are not unreasonable, and I think GF would fulfill if the right system is put in place and the right approach is taken to provide them better feedback as people who mutually love the series. Of course, this could work financially, but I am not optimistic that it will for a litany of reasons. Masuda has been with this company through thick and thin. It may seem that's him and others have lost sight, but I have faith that we can reach GF through eloquence, honesty, and mutual respect
