>>40813758Indeed. While I haven't bought anything myself since July last year my brother has bought me a couple things. Which is part of what makes me laugh at shills who think they can upset me saying they'll buy it anyway. I'd prefer if people didn't and I'm definitely willing to try to convince people not to but I can't control what other people do in the end. I am content not wasting my money on them until they get their shit fixed. Beyond that I am not at all worried at other people doing so - I am ultimately angry at the devs, not people who mostly have extreme mental problems seeing them take a brand as part of their own identity.
But that's the thing really. I don't harbor any hate for casuals unless they're casuals being retarded in my face. If you like the basics, these games should be for you - casual or hardcore doesn't matter. Pokémon is perfectly capable of being for both given they take their time to make it so.
My brother is a casual who likes the stuff from Gen 1 and 2. A casual who knows better than to demand the games only be for him.
No way in hell would he be buying me these games. A random plushie is one thing but he knows how I feel about these games and after he saw some of the designs even he jokingly suggested putting North Korea on Game Freak's ass so... Yeah.
A cute Cyndaquil plush is one thing but buying either of these games for me would be a waste of money on their part because as it stands I have no interest in playing them without a delay or the next games being outright great to warrant purchasing them to get some kind of exclusive that is only available via transfer.
