I am staying in pre gen 7 pokemon and saving them via PKSM. Also going to other games like EVE, 40k, etc...

Maybe pirate SwSh and the DPPt remakes, if they arnt butchered. ORAS would be better than SwSh I bet.

Idk....I told myself that I "still have the DS games" but it just feels hollow and empty holding onto them. I'm personally just drowning myself in Code:Vein and BL3 while I try to pretend this nightmare isn't real.

When Digimon SURVIVE and the next story game come out I'll definitely give those a shot, other than that though it's finally over after 20 good years....

The Pokemon anime ended on a good note. Maybe this is the time to hang up our pokeballs. Most of us are in our 30s already. This generation isn't for us anymore.

I've been meaning to give Disc Monsters a shot. The monsters are basic but cute.

Next year will see the release of Digimon Survive, (maybe) Yokai Watch 4 and Temtem. At least one is probably a good/decent substitute for SwSh. Ni no Kuni already is.

As far as Pokemon goes, the anime (and manga adaptation) might be interesting. I am not holding my breath for remakes or spin-off games. I'm far more interested in that ongoing Spaceworld hack.

Gamewise I am surely keeping away from pokemon titles until gf is dead/heavily restructured, luckily there are tons of good games out there, and mods/hacks of pokemon as well.
If only the pokemmo devs wouldn't be so slow...

Just play the fucking older games. RBY to BW2 is absolute kino and there's lots of romhacks that add replayability. Be thankful that your "bro" isn't some gen 6/7/8 pokemon that is forever stuck in shit games

This is just GF's first mainline console game, one that was rushed out by Nintendo for the holiday season. Don't worry, everyone will be back in one game down the line. Hey, who knows? Maybe there's plans for free Pokedex expansion DLC packs for this and throughout next year.

Just be patient. No way Nintendo would let GF disappoint many potential customers.
