Reminder that this was actually the first game to start culling Pokemon yet it still sold faster than every other remake.

It’s because, despite what GameFreak said, everyone thought this would just be a one off thing that they could forget about and play while waiting for the 2019 games.

This is how I see it. Since all the mons weren’t in and it sold 11 million copies. Gamefreak saw that as a green light to dex cull so it’s pretty much a fixed job by both the stupid idiots who bought the game and GF for ruining the franchise.
