>>40829431>If a game has a bug, but you never encounter it, is it a flaw?If I don't encounter it I don't care about it. If every single other person had it and I didn't then tough fucking luck, I wouldn't even waste a thought on them.
>Should you not buy the game? Why wouldn't I buy the game because of something which doesn't do shit to me?
>What if it bricked the console? Then I wouldn't risk it.
>What if it only impacted other players but not yourself?See the first answer.
If I didn't buy games because I didn't like things in it then I wouldn't be playing video games period because I'd have nothing to play. My GOTY is Ys 8 yet it's significantly less difficult than other Ys games, uses a nu-ys system that I'm not the biggest fan fo because I prefer the older one, has way too many recovery items available, can get repetitive on the monster invasions and has a really shitty true ending akin to a story ending saying 'it was all a dream lol' and yet despite all that it is an incredible game for an abundance of reasons.
I don't like how much BoTW has changed from the old Zelda formula, I strong dislike the lack of dungeons even to this day, I strong dislike the fact that there's only like 4 enemy types in the game that just get recoloured, I strongly dislike the open world meme in general and I worry about the series future, yet I still bought it and had fun with it. Certainly wasn't my favourite Zelda, not by a longshot but as flawed as it is it was still worth the purchase, I just hope the next games improve.
I bought Yugioh on the Switch too. Great game but it uses a new ruleset which breaks a lot of story duels and you can't go back to using the old ruleset. Also I've been grinding for weeks and still don't have every card in the game.
These are all substantial flaws. Every single game I've played I can list of things I dislike about it or things I'd change. Every fucking one of them.
