Why the fuck did they do this when there's already a psychic/fairy type introduced this generation?
Why not give it wings and make it a fairy/flying type? It's not the most original thing in the world but at least it's a unique type and it's more than just "my mom's $1 unicorn toy"

Most people outside horseshow still call them winged unicorns anyway. In any case it would EVOLVE from a unicorn so i doesn't matter.

Plus it just kinda makes logical sense. Ponyta goes from no horn to having a horn, so if G Ponyta STARTS with a horn it should gain wings.
