Why do the national dex cuts matter to you?

I am genuinely curious about this, 90% of people would of played the game through with a in game team like normal?

If youre mad about a poke like pic related being cut wjere you mad you couldn't get ot in ruby when that came put? Or diamond?

I understand that there is a difference because you now cant use the pokemon no matter what but that has no effect until hpme comes put right?

i wouldn't be so upset if the gen 8 pokemon were actually good and they didn't literally handpick the worst pokemon to fill their 400. (and I guarantee you the actually good pokemon they didn't cut like Tyranitar are all postgame anyway)

I don't care. I'm buying it and can't wait to play on November 15. All I do on cart is play BSD/VGC. If I want to use older mons I can just go to Showdown.

RSE were my first pokemon games

No, home only let's you store the pokemons there, you can't use them in the new games because they are not coded in the game. So now my favs that I spent days breeding and training are stuck in the cloud as 1s and 0s, waiting for the next Gen games to include them again

Because there's more to Pokemon than just the league challenge. It makes me genuinely sad that there are people who pick up Pokemon games just to beat the E4 once and then drop the game entirely, it's such a waste.

no new systems besides pokemonamie 2.0 with curry and camping.
no endgame. leaker said there is a short post game quest and then battle tower.
the wild area is tiny but also empty and lifeless even though its a selling point of the game there is very little interesting terrain its just a couple lakes and copy pasted unity asset trees. also roaming pokemon only happen in the wild area.
the models are the same ones from xy and the animations are the same quality as previous games and even recycled for both pokemon and trainers like hau hop.
no free cam in the rest of the game which heavily limits the exploration of the first console mainline game and makes the world feel even smaller.
the pokemon selected for the galar region make no sense from a balance or lore perspective. we got 11 fully evolved pure fighting types and no stoutland.
the game only has 10 routes and the giant city at the top is just a backdrop.

defend the dex cut. all of gamefreaks reasons have been debunked or are clearly lies.
I know that OP is bait but I want to vent

If you don't understand how this could affect pvp or trading then there's no point in talking to you, since you either don't understand the appeal of Pokemon or you're just shitposting.
