It was an option to limit yourself to new and regional Pokémon, but eventually you could bring your Pokémon into your current game. YOUR Pokémon, ones YOU caught, EV trained, evolved, brought through numerous gens. They're nostalgic memories of your childhood and proof of the hardwork you put in. The hours of shint hunting when that meant something, breeding for days until you got the right nature, your favorite starter eventually getting to compete against new Pokémon and see how it stacks up. YOU CAN'T DO THAT ANYMORE AND THAT MAKES PEOPLE UPSET.
Apparently that fact is lost on you deluded, domesticated retards. All of your work and training means nothing. Why did you even bother catching them all and filling up your national dex? Why did you even play Gen 4 if something like 71% of those Pokémon aren't in the current game and you put those Pokémon in Bank? I guess you just chuck them out or transfer them to Home and drool at your screen since you literally can't do anything else with them. You can only hope the ones you like are in a game in the future if Masuda says so. No one wants to just write off new Pokémon off the bat and never use them, that want the fucking option to use old ones, not told you aren't allowed to play your way.
