Nah, gen 6 was a disappointment then and it still is now. All because the newer games are even worse doesn't make them magically good. You're just lowering your standards.

I think shield will be better than x. If shield is bad, I will replay Y but I won't catch moltres, zapdos, or articuno. I can get them easier on red and send them to moon.

Legit agree. Still think they are really cool, and certain ones genuinely enhanced some Pokemon. Mega Medicham and Mega Sableye were fucking great.

These games were fun when they first came out and everyone was playing with online. I imagine these games feel pretty barren, stupid, and lonely to replay now, but I don't know, I haven't touched X since release.

Gen6 gave us mostly good designs, redux'd party/box sprites, and mega evolutions, and for that, I am thankful.
