To this day I have no idea what Game Freak was thinking with Techno Blast and the drives.
Why not give it Rotom-esque forms or something, with its armor and stats morphing depending on which drive is equipped? In lore the drives are supposed to grant it high adaptability to situations.
Blitz Armor.
Tundra Armor.
Marine Armor.
Blaze Armor.
For extra giggles they could resemble different car models when Genesect shifts to flight (or swim) mode.
