Gen 4 is coming. The they were conservative with Pokemon from those gens for a reason, and barring Lucario every last gen 4 shillmon is gone.

do we buy TR or just find them around? i'm worried they'll be like "old times TMs", i don't like keeping one item around until "i feel confident using it", because otherwise i keep it forever

I think if they do it they're going to do a sequel. I think enhanced versions would be harder sells on a console and a sequel wouldn't take much work.

To be fair, ORAS was somewhat disappointing, I'd argue it marked the beginning of the very sharp decline Pokemon has been experiencing lately.

Didn't they say they already began on gen 9? That menas 2 years for a new game for the 25th. So new third version or remakes at all.
