Pokemon games even have commentary against Japanese work culture, look at the ORAS abandoned ship for the most explicit one.
Hell I'm surprised there was no outrage due to Game Freak speaking against Hashima Island but then again the reference is hidden in parts normies usually don't get to. And the world of Pokemon is some kind of anarchist utopia that "has no borders", "climate change isn't a big issue because people would come together and help each other" (except in Galar apparently), and other stuff I can't remember right now. If Game Freak wanted and weren't held back by TPC trying to keep it as a "family friendly" franchise Pokemon games would probably be Megaten or Persona levels of presentation except less hypocrite (Persona games in particular specially 5 are very contradicting and comformist)
