Yeah you could, and there are reasons you should like: I want to run through the region with a legendary, it'll be fun
but why would you do that AND THEN complain about a ruined experience?

There's nothing wrong with cheating in a single player experience as you're only cheating yourself.

Platinum improves somewhat on #1 and greatly improves on #3. It's my favourite game in the series due to its Pokemon distribution, rich region, and great pacing.

Maybe it would be better that way desu considering how franchise is based mostly around merch shilling, being stuck in it's old ways despite passing time and not caring about fans needs. Although admittedly I'm still surprised that such bad games spawned any franchise at all and not only that but became biggest franchise in history. On the other hand I don't see why it's impossible for person to hate/dislike certain part of franchise, but like the other parts of it.
