Eternatus' otherworldly design still gives me hope that it may be related to the UBs in some way, and Eternamax Eternatus is great final boss material.

I'm sure there will be a new mystery dungeon for the switch, Gen 7 didn't have one because 3ds was in it's last days and creating a new engne for the switch probably will take it's time.

I feel like Mystery Dungeon might be the only game that could redeem Gen 8 Pokémon and make them likeable.

Probably not. Last one didnt sell well and with SwSh already looking like it will sell boatloads, both mobile games doing well, its looking bad for pokemon spinoffs that are actually better than the main games.

I was hoping for a new mystery dungeon or maybe a standalone proper RPG (LIke Colloseum of GoD) but its not looking good. Im sorry

yes I think a gen 8 PMD will be a thing. But it will be on mobile full of microtransactions for energy. Gacha for which Pokemon you'll get. Buy items for real lif money etc.
