This thing probably the worst evolution. Rolycoly is cool, the middle evolution is really dumb looking, and it looks like they gave up and decided to make another Golem by the end. The Dynamax form looks good from what I can tell though.

Coalossal has every chance at being placed in a high tier. Its ability is so incredible that even a slow as 20 speed Pokemon would outspeed just about every Pokemon in the game without a scarf (there might be a few exceptions) with a +3 boost.
If Coalossal has no wasted stats on speed and a shitload of attack power and good bulk it'll be amazing.

Average defensive typing, outclassed by pure water in terms of raw lack of weaknesses. Decent defense and special defense, but garbage hp means that Toxapex doesn't take hits very well. The only promising set is probably toxic spikes + merciless venoshock, but that would probably be a joke set at best.

As fun a pokemon as Toxapex is, there really isn't any way it will be viable competitively in Gen 8.
