A.) HD remake of an old region, no new mons but a new story with new game mechanics
B.) Something like SwSh with new mons & new region but some mons get deported.
At some point it just becomes unrealistic to keep adding Pokemon while retaining old ones. (Not saying we have hit that point, but imagine there are like 1500+ in the future on a new console, it's not realistic to model/animate every single one plus new areas, story mons etc)
