It’s very important to keep the calcium to phosphorous ratio right and with supplementation you get hypercalcaemia (hyper meaning high and calcium). Basically the ratio needs to be right or it stops the absorption of the other one. Imagine it as there’s only a limited amount of space to have either calcium or phosphorous so now that gengar probably has hypophosphatemia (hypo meaning low and phosphorous) as well and if ghost types could die he could die again! I hope you found this insightful and educational. I’m trying to get some practice in for explaining nutritional diseases in animals. I wish you a lovely day

When I saw this trailer today my eyes bulged out of my head when I saw them use 26 fucking calciums on gengar, especially one that already had a significant amount of EV's already gained

It's not 2 levels, it's a flat amount of xp. We also saw the naming conventions behind the candies meaning normal +1 lvl rare candies don't exist anymore
