I like it's design. Feels like it should have one more evolution stage though. Should have become Bug/Dark at the end or something and had the coloration of a Black Widow

I agree. There are a hundred pokemon based on canines but only a handful of spiders, amongst them these two are the most pure. They deserved better than to be booted.

Should have two possible final third forms. One is Bug/Dark and is a Black Widow as its inspiration. Perhaps female only. Males don't change typing but gain an increase in speed and special attack (have to be fast to catch female and mater her and then escape her web)
