It is not possible to make a perfect stall team

Zapdos is almost mandatory for stall to fuction in gen 7 yet is weak to rocks

I used volcarona on my gen 7 stall for a pretty long period of time because it counters mega mawile, kartana, and bulu

That team was made or broken on whether the other team got rocks up, if they did I lose, if not I can switch freely and wall everything

Most offensive mons really don't care about their health as long as they can break

Yeah this is going to be its standars set. Early game it acts as scout and momentum grabber, late game it sweeps.

It lures fire and steel types easily, so pair it with a water or ground type (hint: Arena Trap Dugtrio).

HP Ground? It's still not gonna KO fire and steel types and it's getting OHKO'd in return.

Thanks to the boots it can switch in and out with impunity and since it has a big blinking neon sign on its head that says "PLEASE SWITCH YOUR FIRE AND STEEL TYPES OUT" the best course of action is to predict the obvious switch and send your water or ground counter for them. This is ridiculously good when paired with Dugtrio.

How about Heat Wave? That already has precedent for being given to non-Fire types, since its Nip name translates as "Hot Wind". It'd be kinda wonky to give it to an ICE-type, but, it still seems possible....
