Why the fuck do I keep hearing this name tossed around? Is this fucker the Sheng Long of Pokemon or something? I've never seen a single credible leak mentioning this name and only since the images and speculation on legendaries have started to pool in, I swear some retards here act like this thing is real. The fuck are you talking about? Is /vp/ making a new PokeGod?

The fact that the Pokedex calls it the source of Dynamax energy and that it was contained inside a meteor that crashed in Galar makes me think that it's just Eternatus' japanese name

If it does exist and it's an "unofficial" fourth, then it's gotta be a mythical and will be released at a later date. The Pokédex ends at 400 with Eternatus.

There's no direct source but seeing that Eternatus is related to meteors and dynamaxing I think it's a safe bet that it's Meteordyna. It's also entirely possible there's a legendary in the 401 spot the leaker hasn't found. Like a random raid battle spawn, or an event triggered by having both dogs.

This is the first thread that's suggested it's Eternatus jap name. Legends are supposed to have the same name in Eng/Jap now, but given Eternatus came from a meteor, it's possible.

"Meteodyna" made us think it's an Eng name, but the Jap name for Dynamax is simply "DAIMAX". Not "DAINAMAX".

Either that or its actually the meteor eternatus was riding around in come to life.
Could have been two beings wrestling with each other through space and crash land on earth with Eternatus quickly containing it whilst it was weakened and going on a rampage and the Dogs stepped up to stop it.

The one major exception seems to be Ultra Beasts (which are legendaries in all but name), and considering Eternatus is apparently a similar sort of thing based on its design and lore it could mean it's also exempt from that rule.
