>>40891621Again, you must first check it's serial number on a website called "Is my Switch Patched?".. There is a bug in the launch release Switches that give them the access to be hacked, if you bought a Switch in last 2 years you might possibly have a patched up Switch so you might not be able to hack it at all which is why you must check the serial number first otherwise you risk bricking it if you dont know what you're doing.
I dont think PKHex is updated for Sword/Shield support yet so I cant answer any questions or concerns about PKHex. Once the support is there, you probably would be able to go online as long as the game is a legit copy and you didnt inject obviously hacked Pokémon. Nintendo is stepping their game up with the Switch modding so you would have to be very careful
