If I were to buy a switch right now, will it be hackable? According to the homebrew guide it has to be on firmware 4.10 or lower. Pic unrelated

You have to buy an original model, there's a serial number checker on the net that will help.
Ebay is a good place to look

you can go on ebay and search unpatched switch i got really lucky and found one for under 300 brand new a few months ago.
