Some of these designs really aren't terrible, and the illustration quality could generally do with work but isn't abysmal. Many designs clearly precede ones that ended up appearing in later games.

On the whole I'd rate the entire set equal to Gens IV or VI, and above VII and VIII.

Since the natural comparison to Gen V is being made, here's the Unovan considerables. It's a greater numerical showing, but some of the designs in uranium, with polishes to the art, would be taken over these.

i really liked the majority of uranium's pokemon designs. sure we have trawpint, drillgann's shiny looking great while the stock looks gay as balls, duplicat, tofurang, anderind, krillvolver, hazmite, mlp-deviantart-OC's, and titanice, but the rest are pretty damn based.
