there is a chance that the code is still in the game.
But even so you won't be able to transfer pokemon
not without a mod at least

The only thing that has me conflicted is the possibility of remakes this gen, and how cross game battling will work between the two

What Masuda said, that you won't be able to get pokemon not in the Galar dex, plus basing it on LGPE, where some data was in the games, but not enough to transfer or use the pokemon.
