>>40917798Like I find certain Pokémon cool, even in Gen VIII, but that is nowhere near enough to get me to buy a game. There are a bunch of demons I absolutely adore in the SMT series, but if an SMT game came out with barely any of the ones I like, that wouldn't phase me enough to turn my nose up at it. Dexit has barely affected me, even though I think that it shouldn't have happened.
To me, it's what they do with those Pokémon in the game that matters. Finding Lapras in Union Cave was so cool and I'll remember it forever, but petting a fictional animal is about as exciting to me as Nintendogs. I might as well just get an actual pet that I can truly love and can love me back.
