>>40919022They do have very shitty moves. His Pidgeot has whirlwind and Arcanine has roar, both of which do literally nothing in PVP in gen 1. His Gyarados has leer and the set 40 damage dragon rage. His Exeggutor only has 3 moves which are hypnosis, stomp, and barrage. His Rhydon is probably the most useless Pokémon on any champion’s team. Leer, tail whip (because that’s not redundant), fury attack, and horn drill. Remember that in gen 1 horn drill can only hit opponents slower than the user. That Rhyhorn isn’t hitting most anything.
Anybody who says they want the rival to go back to being challenging like in gen 1 hasn’t played in a while.
