Actually, I've been thinking if pokemon Home is just a pokemon Bank v2 or if itll be an actual game.

Maybe you'll be able to see, battle and interact with your past pokemon.

Thatd make the dex cut MUCH much more tolerable IMO

I'm working on this app in my company (contractor company in China). It's a hub thing, basically you can see all the news, weather, update on Pokemon, tons of ads, etc... The main feature is a wallpaper kind of thing but also a シミュレーションゲーム. You can build Pokemon city in that thing.

For it to be free. If it cost nothing and the monetization involved cosmetics/minigames or some other cancer then it'd be a hell of a lot less offensive.

Not anymore. It's not paid service. It's an app now. There are in-game purchases for building that Pokemon 'nest'. The decorations are highly customizable.

Content belongs in the game, not elsewhere. Stop accepting half assed games where they can fix it later and/or split the content up to sell to you later.
