I have bought a game from every generation and day 1 since gen 4. This will be the first time I don't buy a Pokemon main series game. Many friends are doing the same. Interest seems to be lacking even with the younger crowd. This is going to hurt sales no matter how much you try and convince yourself that this negative press as well as the games looking like dog shit won't hurt. You're only lying to yourself.
