I have even searched for the cutdex online and again found people who were defending it
it's not like I'm saying there's no possibilities that the game will flop, but there are strong chances they'll sell good anyway

aDrive is the worst scum. Completely just in it for the money. All of this guy's content for a while was stuff you needed Natdex for: living shinydex hunting, draft leagues, etc. He's really quick to move on to whatever pays the bills with pokemon. The worst kind of shill.

Read the first part of the quote, if it's not received well, judging by what we saw with BW and BW2, it will be considered a flop internally. Sales will continue but usually controversy on this scale causes a major shakeup in some way.

Nintendo still needs mainline games to be console pushers, so some combo of 2 and 3 seems likely- we get all the Pokemon but everything else is half-assed or the same as usual.

I could see nintendo allowing TPC to ditch mainline games if they can pump out more spin offs like pokepark, rumble, mystery dungeon, and ranger from multiple devs.

Granted none of them could compete with a mainline but SwSh and lets go are at that point where some of the old mystery dungeons would easily replace them in terms of value and sales.
