Dynamax/Gigantamax will be gone next gen, just like all the previous gimmicks. RIP all those mega designs (yes, even the bad ones).

I don't get how anyone can get excited for these battle gimmicks when this is the case. Locking megas/z-moves/gigashit/peepeepoopoo mode behind beating the champion would be a much better solution than just dropping it completely.

It's a problem that applies exclusively to Pokemon due to the fact that each game isn't a self-contained set with no means of interactivity outside of that set of games.
And yes, this is STILL the case, limited as it may be, thanks to Home.
