I'll play and enjoy the games, sure. Doesn't mean that I can't call them what appears to be, for now, the most disappointing games in the series.

Grandpa, pets, etc. all died in the 8th of a month, friend groups with 8 people all end up disbanding, and the CD I made with all of my favorites band's songs happens to have all the shitty ones ending in 8 (song n°8, 18, 28, and so on until 68).

We can all tell personal anecdotes, anon, and if that's the case I go to a Japanese institute full of weebs and otakus every Saturday to study, and the entirety of my class plus the one next door (who we meet up during recess to chat) are laughing at how bad these games look and aren't buying it. Literally the only person who is is a girl who had Sony consoles all her life and just now bought her first Nintendo one and wants to try varied stuff, so she bought LGPE regardless of never having played Pokemon before, and will buy SwSh now. But despite her, literally no one else has any interest and most prefer to buy games on sale on Steam or get stuff like Luigi's Mansion 3.

GoT season 8 was good, though.
