But putting more content = more resources wasted which is less effective than the Masuda method, minimum effort maximum profit

Iwao seems to be to Morimoto like what Ohmori is to Masuda. A sort of protege, in a way. Both are guys who work on the battle part of the game, they even team up in USUM. Hell, Iwao included a version of the Battle Factory in USUM, kind of. I see potential in Iwao, but I don't think he's going to get another chance, if Unno didn't there's no chance for anybody else.

Nah, he just used Exeggutor for debugging and testing battle, it was designed way too early for it to be him. It does seem like his style though. It's also probably why it's so good, actually. Here's some more quotes from him.
