>>40952157Some valid points. Dropped my sub after I stopped raiding since nothing else kept me in the game really. Came back for Shadowbringers though, and I have to admit, that expac story is very good. It's pretty much the equivalent of a solid standalone jrpg.
Heck, I enjoyed it more than I have enjoyed many single player jrpgs, even.
Of course one advantage of a never ending mmo is that it can make you very attached to its cast of characters. But, even the newly introduced characters, including villains, were well built up. Been a while since i had that much hype for a game story and finale.
