Yes. This will most likely reveal and prove that 1- all models are exactly the same except for textures and 2- that all pokemon data barring models of pokemon not in the dex are inside the game.

the data will probably be there but dummied out and with the models replaced for a dummy like in LGPE. That would make modding relatively simple.

Who the fuck is still arguing that the models are new? They’re not. The textures are and maybe they had to re-quadify the high poly models and stuff but they didn’t resculpt the models from scratch.

They don't have to re-do textures because the textures were originally made in extremely high resolution, and could possibly be vector textures.

All they need to do is click a button that scales them down to a reasonable resolution for games.
If the reference models are NURBS then they'll be the same way

You can even look at the mesh comparison pic to see how different the textures are you dumb faggot. It’s not a matter of resolutions. They also use a couple different texture maps than previous games
