I play another game series which used to have a producer that would fuck everything up, such as getting the story re-written so the character voiced by his Seiyuu waifu would be the female lead instead, fucking up the entire game, or getting stories written so that characters designed by a designer he didn't like would just have a shitty as time. And when the fanbase got tired of his shit, he forced the fucking VA he waifu'd to apologize on stage for him.
Eventually the higher ups "promoted" him to an dead-end adviser job, which is basically the way the Japanese fire executives.
