Making white characters black isn’t progressive, it’s just fake “woke-ness” to get (no pun intended) brownie points. Things like black Annie, black Josie and black Ariel are just marketing ploys to make money off of SJWs- cause attention from SJW cocksucking and alt-right screeching, thus making them more money as people will want to feel “woke” by supporting them. None of these “white turned black” characters are genuine at all, just a suit decision to make money off of idiots who want to pay themselves on the back.
Characters who are made to be a minority are always better and more genuine than a character who’s race swapped. Same goes for turning any race to another. That’s why Pokemon has representation fairly well despite being a shit series lately.
