This is a common practice for game studios. GF should still make sure those groups have enough people though.

Gonna use this thread to inform everyone that Town was made by a team of 40 people and most of them were outscourced contractors and not Game Freak employees. There was no A Team or B Team. Sword and Shield had the bulk of their workforce behind it.
