bros, tell me. I havent caught up on all the leaks. Is there a post-game? Anything worth doing solo? Battlefrontier, anything? Ive been missing gen 3 and 4 post-game and gen 5 pwt. Is there any hope at all? We lost everything in X and Y and got kicked in ORAS, then USUM cemented that

Postgame is almost XY levels of bad. Id put it between XY and SM, both of which had awful postgames.

XY at least had the autism of shiny hunting.
Gen 8 just has a 90 minute "story" and then a tower clone only now there's even less pokemon.

Literally every new gen is a few hours of postgame + battle tower + some other things. I will never understand why this criticism was something that suddenly started with with XY.

People can look back at older generations with rose-tinted glasses because they all got enhanced versions which 'redeemed' them by fixing all of their problems post-release. XY is honestly pretty standard, and even better in some ways than its predecessors, but never got that same luxury.

That's not relevant to S/S. It's only fair to compare new gens to each other and extra versions to each other, since the way they are developed are completely different.
