Is anyone else kind of relieved that national dex is dead as it cured their pokeautism?

I'll still play the games (either pirate them or buy them used cheap) but I don't think I'm ever going to go back to shiny hunting. No more maxing out the clock breeding hundreds of thousands of eggs. No more trying to catch every single possible combination of a pokemon in every single type of ball. No more paying extra money for cloud storage. Gamefreak has given me my life back.
