Ive been planning my own fakemon game for a long time and im nervous about what kind of interest it might have before i start working on it full time.

Would you play a game that was similar to pokemon but without the branding or are you just loyal to the company/only interested in the pokemon themselves?

Do you think the masses would be interested in a game or would they immediately hate it no matter the quality because of there being no pokemon?

Why are there no pokemon clones or pokemon rip off games or even any kind of pokemon genre?

For a game that makes billions id expect more games to be carbon copies just look at how many platformers 2d and 3d took every idea they could from Mario.

How interested/how successful do you think a game like this would be just assuming that its a competent game with competent ideas?
