I've been feeling like playing some Gen 2+Stadium lately, is the Pokemon Crystal Clear romhack any good? Also, any general Pokemon romhack recommendations?

I feel like every romhack is a waste of time. Any pokemon you catch can't be transferred to the main games anyways, so why bother. If you want a real challenge, beat Stadium 1/2 with only rentals like I did.
