It went 3D. This itself wasn't bound to turn into a nightmare, but when you add GameFreak to the 3D mix then this timeline was inevitable.

You woke up? If anything, SWSH looks better than the last few turds. But all the shit you virgins are complaining about hase wondering, WHAT were you guys thinking for the past 20 years?

Pokemon has been low effort rehashes for literally decades. Just over and over again, yearly releases with minor changes. Shitty horrible starters. Too easy. Too many cutscenes. And then they take away your autism-DEX which has one purpose which is to make sure the competive scene uses the same 12 Pokemon that they have for 10 years straight and somehow that is the straw the broke the camel's back.

What happened to Pokemon? Nothing, it's the same as it always has been. You're just an autistic virgin meganerd who finally noticed that he's been obsessed with a children's game for most of his life.

Even if all the entirely subjective shit you just said was true, this game is doing the absolute bare minimum at best while removing 2/3rds of the main selling point of the entire series, if that doesn't make it worse than literally any other installment into the franchise than I don't know what would.
Keep slinging around buzzwords and "it's always been bad!" because you can't come up with any other """""argument"""""" to defend these games.

+Gigantamax makes my mouth open really wide to get in more onions
+Really cute new Pokemon

-Wild area is barren with not much to do
-Battle are too easy
-Story is lame, too many cutscenes
-Not much to do after beating the game
