A movie about the origins of Team Rocket could work too, and would be a good way to make obscure canon information from sources like audio dramas more widespread, like Giovanni's mother founding Team Rocket (have her played by Eva Green in her youth and Charlotte Rampling in her elderly years) and Jessie's mother going missing while looking for Mew. I'd be fine with Giovanni being played by Patrick Warburton. I'm mentioning this Team Rocket origin story idea since it could tie in to the Detective Pikachu movie since Mewtwo is in it and Mew is mentioned.
